USEFUL GARDENING TIPS

NUTRIENTS FOR THE EARTH

Composting is feed your plants, give them food. But one should do in the event that the plant did not find what you need on earth. In principle, a vegetable should assert itself. A plant never dies for lack of payment, because in the worst case, is growing.

When is it necessary?

When the soil is poor, as is often around new buildings have to think about providing additional plants The soils are generally poor stuffed and can not adequately nourish the plants, which , without dying, will grow slowly. Similarly, in a normal land but cultivated long, nutrients may be scarce for certain vegetables that we plant in it, for example  very large bamboos, which are incredibly hungry for nutrients.

Where and when ?

There are very poor soils, such as soils full of small stones and sloping, or very sandy soils. Faced with such situations is essential if you want to get fertilize lush plantation. Theoretically we should use plant based on the potential of the soil. In poor soil is preferable rustic vegetable planting and prioritize what grows best . It is the best solution if you are looking for success in the care, but visually it may not be what you like .

Fertilization, compost?

When we talk of fertilization, think quickly in fertilizers, which is a mistake because fertilizers are matters of chemical or organic origin (natural ) that release nutrients into the soil. It is rare that a fertilizer equally serve all types of plants, and in fact often target certain types of plants.
The only true multi-purpose fertilizer is compost. Organic matter (humus ) obtained by the decomposition of plant residues provides all the nutrients to the plants in the garden whatever its type. In addition to fertilizers and compost, we can nurture our plants otherwise , covering the feet of plant materials that will decompose slowly. Prepare a compost plant debris and leave transformed into humus at the foot of the plants need some time, so when we need to go fast, the use of fertilizers saves time .

Too much fertilizer is not good?

Do not use any form of fertilizer, as this might disappoint. The main risk is to contribute them excessively. We might think that adding a little more than the recommended dose may not hurt, but actually hurt the plant.
A vegetable, mineral resources to explore soil forms a root system as abundant as it is necessary. Make more on poor soils than in rich soil where the nutrients are readily available.
If you add too much fertilizer, the roots may be suddenly overwhelmed by large amounts absorbing nutrients, occurring partially or completely die.
